First Ride
Having been literally inundated with snow since late November, the skiing has been great and riding has been at the back of our minds.
Whistler has been busy busy again reaching the numbers that the resort was used to before 9:11 which is great for local businesses, but the locals got used to having the mountains to themselves on all but holiday weekends.
The huge amounts of snow even had Squamish snowed in for a while but with the recent sunny period we managed to find the will to leave the skiis behind and pop down for a first ride around the Alice Lake trails in Squamish.
There was still snow and soem sheet ice in places, but that all made for a super fun ride and a well deserved trip out of whistler to give us renewed focus to make sure summer 2007 is the best season yet!
